Deva Lekhana is a Tanjore art gallery located in Hyderabad, India with the aim of reviving an ancient art form for the contemporary home. After a lifetime of devoting myself to perfecting this historical artwork, I alongside a team of women artists, started Deva Lekhana to share our passion to make Tanjore paintings accessible to the next generation. Tanjore paintings origins can be traced back to the 11th century of Chola period - we have carefully studied different influences to produce paintings with the same amount of quality and care.
